ONGOING PROJECT: MH Opatija – Pedestrian bridge

The installation of pedestrian bridge columns over the D-66 state road has begun as part of the construction of the Marriott Hotel in Ičići, where GARK konzalting is performing expert supervision and technical consulting activities. The columns are pre-assembled irregular prisms 8.37 meters high, with a minimum thickness of 70 cm. In preparation for the installation, in-situ foundation footings with cups were constructed, which were reinforced with drilled reinforced concrete piles in the area where soil reinforcement was required. All columns (3 pieces) are currently installed on the construction site and will be geodetically surveyed to determine their exact position for possible correction of the length of the prefabricated girders that will soon go into production. The installation of the girder girders is expected in the fall of 2026.
