CONFERENCE: 19th Days of CCCE

From 12 to 14 June 2025, the 19th Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers were held in Opatija, a gathering that this year again represents a central place for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and expertise in the field of construction. GARK Konzalting actively participated in the conference program this year, as part of the professional segment dedicated to project management. Two current and challenging projects from our practice were presented.

Our engineer Andrija Stipić and the investor engineer from Valamar Jelena Filipović held a lecture on the topic "The Pical Hotel Reconstruction Project, Poreč - Organizational Challenges of Realizing the Largest Investment in Tourism in the Republic of Croatia". Through their presentation, they shared their experiences from this extremely demanding project, emphasizing the complexity of organizing work, coordinating numerous stakeholders, and managing the risks that accompany investments of this scale. The second presentation was given by the director of GARK Konzalting, Krunoslav Komesar, on the topic "The Impact of Errors in Project Management and Professional Supervision on the Quality and Numerous Deficiencies in the Realization of a Residential and Tourist Resort on the Adriatic Coast". The lecture analyzed a concrete case from practice and pointed out the importance of timely and precise project management, as well as the role of professional supervision in ensuring the quality of performance.

Participation in such professional gatherings once again confirms our commitment to the development of the engineering profession and the continuous sharing of knowledge and experience.
