FINISHED PROJECT: PSGM Resnik
After the Zagreb earthquake on March 22, 2020, GARK Konzalting started with post-earthquake inspections of buildings, and due to the exceptional effort and the large number of buildings inspected, we also received the medal of the city of Zagreb. After the beginning of the reparations of the damage caused by the earthquake, there was a need to remove the construction material resulting from the reconstruction. Following the example of our projects in Petrinja (Mala Gorica) and Glina (Majski Trtnik), we joined the efforts for the city of Zagreb to get its own temporary construction waste storage facility - PSGM Resnik. Now we can proudly show the citizens the success of that project with the completion and opening of Resnik, which was officially opened on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
The size of PSGM Resnik is 24,548 m2 (2.54 ha). The warehouse has 6 main components: entry-exit zone, material unloading and crushing zone, material storage zone, timber storage, rebar storage and inert waste disposal site. The accompanying parking lot consists of 20 parking spaces for regular vehicles and 5 spaces for trucks, with an approximate area of 1,300 m2. Accompanying the building in Resnik are the administrative and administrative staff building, which will take care of the work of PSGM on a daily basis, and a 30.0 x 12.0 m canopy that serves as a storage facility for construction machinery. The warehouse starts operations taking in the materials from Monday, March 4, 2024.
Aerial shots of the facility as well as photos from the opening can be viewed in our gallery.
